We seldom have the time to look closely at objects that are both decorative and useful that have been thoughtfully designed and made by skilled craftsman over the many years - drawer handles, coins, military buttons, and tiny, delicate gears inside clocks…I CELEBRATE THESE!

On the brown tag I have divided objects into Artifacts, Antiques - over 100 yrs old, and Vintage - over 40 years old. I also have $ next to things that are valuable enough to sell separately, but I love using items that are really beautiful and don’t care if I use things that are too valuable.
This is a smaller collage and has an extra fancy solid brass drawer handle back that is very old - perhaps early 1800’s. I also include a decorative key hold and another bail handle holder. The most unusual object on this collage is the brass skeleton key. The frame is black and muted gold.
This collage is 8” x 10”.
