Curiosity Collage #303

$60.00

We seldom have the time to look closely at objects that are both decorative and useful that have been thoughtfully designed and made by skilled craftsman over the many years - drawer handles, coins, military buttons, and tiny, delicate gears inside clocks…I CELEBRATE THESE!

Please scroll through the photos (there is a small arrow on the edge of the photos) to find the tag that describes every item in the collage. On the brown tag I have divided objects into Artifacts, Antiques - over 100 yrs old, and Vintage - over 40 years old. I also have $ next to things that are valuable enough to sell separately, but I love using items that are really beautiful and don’t care if I use things that are too valuable.

This collage is a 6 × 8 shadow box. There is a fancy brass drawer handle back from the Victorian times in the 1800s. Also a beautiful key escutcheon from that time. Also included are some military buttons and insignia from the US Army and a police button from a the UK. I try to always put an old skeleton in a collage.
