We seldom have the time to look closely at objects that are both decorative and useful that have been thoughtfully designed and made by skilled craftsman over the many years - drawer handles, coins, military buttons, and tiny, delicate gears inside clocks…I CELEBRATE THESE!

I love using items that are really beautiful and don’t care if I use things that are too valuable.
I had fun making this collage (well, I have fun with ALL of them). This is a 9 × 11 natural wood frame. It has two great Victorian drawer handle backs, a playing jack from the l940s - l950. I remember playing with these! There is money from several countries - a paper bill from Madagascar, coins from Turkey, Israel, The Netherlands, Canada, and Singapore. Of course a skeleton Key.
