We seldom have the time to look closely at objects that are both decorative and useful that have been thoughtfully designed and made by skilled craftsman over the many years - drawer handles, coins, military buttons, and tiny, delicate gears inside clocks…I CELEBRATE THESE!
This is a 6 × 8 natural wood shadow box. There is a Victorian (1800s) brass drawer handle back and a brass drop pull from a drawer of that time. There is a decorative brass key escutcheon, a steeple hinge post, and a typewriter key. I used a US Army insignia with the Great Seal of the US. I also made two rows of tiny watch gears and parts that get pretty tiny!
