Curiosity Collage #63

$275.00

We seldom have th time to look closely at objects that are both decorative and useful that have been thoughtfully designed and made by skilled craftsman over the many years - drawer handles, coins, military buttons, and tiny, delicate gears inside clocks…I CELEBRATE THESE!

Please scroll through the photos (there is a small arrow on the edge of the photos) to find the tag that describes every item in the collage. On the brown tag I have divided objects into Artifacts, Antiques - over 100 yrs old, and Vintage - over 40 years old. I also have $ next to things that are valuable enough to sell separately, but I love using items that are really beautiful and don’t care if I use things that are too valuable.

Another great collage with lots of interesting things on it. The first item is an extra heavy elaborate Victorian (1800’s) drawer handle, there are two pressed brass drawer handle backs and an extra fancy solid brass bail drawer pull. I don’t There is a bronze 1926 Sargent & Co. Paul Revere Art Deco door plate and a solid brass spiral decor from a grandfather clock. I include an Army military insignia for a quartermaster, and an old token for Turkish public telephones. My favorite things is the tiny figure from the 1940;s electric train set. Young people have rarely seen old radio vacuum tubes!

This is 15 × 18”
