Curiosity Collage #64

$27.00

We seldom have th time to look closely at objects that are both decorative and useful that have been thoughtfully designed and made by skilled craftsman over the many years - drawer handles, coins, military buttons, and tiny, delicate gears inside clocks…I CELEBRATE THESE!

Please scroll through the photos (there is a small arrow on the edge of the photos) to find the tag that describes every item in the collage. On the brown tag I have divided objects into Artifacts, Antiques - over 100 yrs old, and Vintage - over 40 years old. I also have $ next to things that are valuable enough to sell separately, but I love using items that are really beautiful and don’t care if I use things that are too valuable.

A small grey framed shadow box collage. I try to make these small ones as interesting as I possibly can without the large fancy brass hardware. There is one very old solid brass drawer handle that I think could be early 1800’s or even 1700’s. I have included a tiny fossil of an ammonite for fun. There is a US Army button with the Great Seal and a British police uniform button. There are also foreign coins and lots of very tiny things in nice rows.

This is 6” x 8”
